For all who've had good news recently ...

… and for those who haven’t …

and are still waiting.

Sail on Silver Girl,
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way

See how they shine
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

(Bridge Over Troubled Water – Simon and Garfunkel)

SmudgeWatch - His eye is making me very sad.

Tuesday Update: He's been in my office all day today, 'helping' me work. He's not normally allowed in there but he's taking advantage of the fact that he's allowed to do anything he likes at the moment. Perhaps I should get him a little pirate eye patch, as his eye seems to be bothering me more than it's bothering him x

Aw Helen. Poor Smudge and poor you.
I'm rooting for him.

I have my fingers crossed for smudge, please give him another hug for me. Am sad to hear you're sad.

Caroline - sing along as many times as you like honey x Uncle Jason has just got home after being away for the weekend and he says he doesn't think Smudge's eye is too bad. So it may just be Mummy being hysterical x

Lane and Yvonne - thank you so much. All good vibes are appreciated.

Hugs for you and Smudge

Thanks for the poem. I'm sitting at my desk at work (hating it) and dreaming of a time when I can write for a living (I did say dreaming!)

Big hugs and love to you and Smudge. xx

Oh no, poor Smudge. Fingers crossed he will get better soon. Hugs to you both x

Thanks for the sentiments, Helen. And right back atcha.

ps. I hope you've recovered from your Simon Cowell madness!

I ditto Caroline's comment!

I wish my good news would bloody well hurry up...ahem, I am an oasis of calm.

Try not to worry about Smudge. As long as he's still good and comfy, that's all that matters.

Pat - your hugs are doing him good x

Debs - that's a good dream to have

Annie - thanks so much from both of us

Captain - sadly I don't think I'll ever recover from that particular madness!

Calistro - yes indeed

Tam - waiting can be the worst thing :)

Ah poor Smudge...perhaps you should wear the patch and give him something to think 'Tsk! Humans!' about?

Leigh said...

Bottom lip sticking out here, with accompanying furrowed brow.
Big hugs to you both.
xx

DJ - I think he already thinks that a fair bit to be honest!

Leigh - Jason says I need to just let him do what he wants to do and not worry so much - so I'm trying x

Glad the hugs are helping. Sending loads more...

Smudge has no idea there's anything wrong with him. He's probably worried about you though. Wouldn't a Long John Silver patch be great. Sadly I don't think Smuge would go for it.

I love Bridge Over Trouble Water. Have tears in my eyes just humming it.

'a zipped away grin' brilliant.
