December ...

... Is Here

300 words a day on aspects of my novel. This is really a test to see how far into it I can get if I don't try to do loads of other things as well. I'm still going to write John's War and get that sent out - but I'm not going to try to do anything else.

So far the prompts I have come up with are:

What is Grace really like?

Why won't Lucy let Grace help her?

Why hasn't their mother got any idea what is going on?

Describe Marmalade

Who is watching from the other side of the river?

Where does the river run from and to?

When does Tom realise he is in love with Grace?

Has Grace ever loved anyone other than Tom?

Why is Lucy so attractive to everyone?

What happened to their father?

I need a few more, but hopefully they will come to me as I go along. I'm not going to post on this every day, because it might get a bit boring! But if I don't mention it at all feel free to give me the proverbial kick to remind me what I'm supposed to be doing!

Thanks for coming around. I like what I read here. Hope you don't mind if I sit down for a while.

This is a good idea - I often think of prompts while dog-walking, but forget them the minute I walk through the door! MUST write them down.

Oh, you are good. I haven't written a thing today (except a few blog comments!), although I have started re-editing my novel [cringe, cringe].

I like your prompts. Good luck with them. Post away.

Good idea and good prompts. I already am captivated by your novel and the storyline just by reading your prompts!

Wayne - welcome, and spend as much time here as you like!

Karen - I know. It's frustrating when you come up with a fab idea and then forget it isn't it!

Leigh - I started with good intentions but ended up doing nothing due to spending the afternoon in Bedford hospital - don't ask!!

Pacha - thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you think it sounds interesting!

Lane - thank you my dear and I'll try not to need too many kicks!

Debs - I need another 20 prompts to see me through the month - so feel free to suggest some!

Caroline - thank you darling. I'm hoping the prompts will get me moving!

Come on, Helen, we'll cheer each other on as we write our novels. We can do it!

Thanks Sally - it will be great to have some encouragement! I'm already following your progress with interest!
